History

The company was established on December 13th, 1967 by Eithel Moellhausen, German, former diplomat in Rome, with a strong international background.
Exploiting his entrepreneurial know-how, Eithel Moellhausen decided to start up his own business in Varese. It was converted into a limited liability company in 1994 and, later, into Moellhausen S.p.A., moving its headquarters to Milan.
After the early business years, the company evolved from a retailer into a corporation able to create added value through the superior organisation, production and quality control of services and customer support.
Luca Moellhausen, Eithel’s son, took the helm of the company in 1988 when the profound transformation of communications and the computer world began. A pioneer like his predecessor, he steered the company towards maximum technological innovation and computer automation. In 2006 he inaugurated the current “leading industrial facilities” in Cambiago and the head office in Vimercate, examples of industrial excellence.
Luca Moellhausen concluded his adventure in 2009 leaving the company’s future in the hands of his brother Anthony (former CEO).
Anthony Moellhausen is now the president of the company and runs the business according to the same values of responsibility, transparency and innovation that distinguished his predecessors.
